LIFX cloud status
LIFX bulbs are controlled through LIFX's own cloud servers. When that cloud is down, the LIFX phone app, Alexa and Google Home, and any tool built on the LIFX API (remote.lighting included) can't reach your bulbs over the internet. Your hardware is fine; controlling lights on the same Wi-Fi through the official app often still works. Once the status above goes green, everything comes back on its own.
Control LIFX from your computer
Remote Lighting is a browser control panel for LIFX. Run your lights from any computer with no app to install. When the cloud is up, sign in and you're set.
